It is such a privilege to be part of our patients’ maternity experience and the birth of their babies. At UnityPoint Health – Fort Dodge, we have an experienced care team of doctors, nurses, and support staff who provide our patients with a wide range of services at every stage of their pregnancy. Our staff provides personal care, as well as all the services expectant mothers need to ensure that their birth experience is the best it can be. However, we also understand that for many families, pregnancy and childbirth can be a difficult time financially and personally.
That’s why we’re so excited to announce that we’ve recently partnered with Webster County Public Health to let patients know about additional maternal health services and resources available in our community.
Webster County Public Health now has a satellite clinic at UnityPoint’s OB/GYN Clinic. All mothers-to-be, regardless of insurance or financial situation, are encouraged to meet with the Webster County Public Health team to discuss what additional support might be helpful to them. Some of the resources they provide for mothers and their babies include breastfeeding support, mental health resources, home visits for mother and baby after delivery, getting baby supplies ( c., and more.Their team also helps uninsured patients enroll in Medicaid. All of these services are provided to pregnant women at no cost.
Together, we are fully dedicated to meeting the unique healthcare needs of our patients and their new family members. The Webster County Public Health Satellite Clinic is located within the UnityPoint OB/GYN Clinic Mondays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon. To make an appointment, individuals can call our office at (515) 574-6870.
