RAJOURI: A three-day Revised Basic Course Workshop (RBCW) on Medical Education Techniques and Upgrading was organized by the Medical Education Unit of Government Medical College Rajouri under the supervision and guidance of the Dr Brij Mohan, Director of GMC Rajouri.
The workshop was held under the auspices of the Nodal Center of the National Medical Commission (NMC) of Christian Medical College Ludhiana.
Dr Chander Sheikher Sharma, coordinator MEU Associate Prof.
Dr Chander Sheikher and other members including Dr Shalinder Sharma Orthopedics, Dr Jamil-Ul-Hassan Medicine, Dr Ravinder Malhotra Physiology, Dr Zakir Hussain Surgery, Dr Vidushi Badyal ENT, Dr Aman Sharma Pharmacology, were the resource teachers for the workshop.
The workshop was attended by 28 GMC Rajouri faculty members as interns. The resource faculty gave a presentation and a live workshop on Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME), the learning objective using the domain of knowledge, new learning methods, assessment methods and The attitude, ethics and communication (AET-COM) session on OSCE / OSPE methods to verify clinical skills and abilities were conducted.
The main objective of the workshop was to prepare Indian medical graduates, who are knowledgeable, up-to-date, compassionate, ethical and useful to society.
