Nationally Accredited Allen School of Health Sciences Launches New Healthcare Management Program, Open to Graduates

As a leader in health care education, the Allen School of Health Sciences is expanding its offerings with an all-new program for alumni looking to advance their careers.

NEW YORK, May 4, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Alumni of the Allen School of Health Sciences, the respected New Yorkhealthcare training institution, can now take continuing education in the brand new healthcare management program.

This opportunity is reserved for alumni of the Allen School of Health Sciences certification programs and is designed to support alumni in their continued career advancement. Licensed by the New York State Department of Education (NYSED) and accredited by the Commission of the Council on Professional Education (COE), the Healthcare Management program is now open for enrollment.

A select group of graduates received invitations to enroll based on their previous GPA, attendance, and overall commitment to career achievement and integrity. The program focuses on a wide range of aspects of healthcare management, including policy, administration, coding of diagnoses and procedures, billing and reimbursement, health informatics, and more.

Since program participants will most likely be working professionals, the program has a hybrid class format to accommodate busy schedules. Classes are 75% online and 25% on-site, with one-on-one sessions with instructors available during Saturday exam times. Each class (two classes per module) requires only ten hours of instruction per week, ensuring an accessible educational opportunity. Students can complete the program in less than eight months and qualify for a career as a medical office manager.

dr. Libby Huntvice president of academic affairs at the Allen School of Health Sciences, says:

I am thrilled that our graduates are once again joining the Allen School family and committed to making an even more meaningful impact on healthcare. Our Healthcare Management program is designed for our students to develop skills to manage every department of a clinic and emerge as the leaders they are meant to be!
