The Great Falls Clinic is pleased to welcome Dr. Christopher Fukuda to its urology team. Dr. Fukuda is a highly qualified and experienced urologist who specializes in most aspects of urology including pediatric urology, neuro-urology, oncology and pelvic floor dysfunction. Dr. Fukuda is highly qualified and experienced in multiple contemporary urological treatments and diagnostic techniques such as robotic surgery, laparoscopic surgery, percutaneous kidney surgery, pediatric surgery, video urodynamics and various BPH treatments including the TUVP laser and the Urolift. Dr. Fukuda also has extensive experience in the management of overactive bladder and urinary incontinence. He received a Center of Excellence award for his work on Sacral Neuromodulation (SNM).
Dr. Fukuda graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. During the summers of his college years, he worked as a firefighter for the Idaho and Montana Forest Service. He then earned his medical degree at the University of Vermont College of Medicine while completing a student pathology fellowship. Dr. Fukuda completed his postgraduate training in urology at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington in 1992 before returning to the University of Vermont where he worked for the next 20 years. Dr. Fukuda is an eighth generation doctor. He practiced medicine in Vermont, North Dakota and South Carolina before officially calling Great Falls, Montana his home.
